360 player tournament

I've been asked several times.

OK I lied. I've never been asked, but I imagine a question coming up. "Hey, Big Laydown guy, how does PokerStars do it? How do millions of hands get dealt in a day? And why is Kim Jomg Il dead? It's so unfair!"

You've heard the answer hundreds of times before here. And often I just don't feel like getting cheated so I just look up some tables that seem to have a decent chance of being bogus and watch. And learn. I had two of them running concurrently tonight.

Wow, this 360 player game before it starts looks to be pretty unpopular. Two players added to the registration every 15 minutes. Hmm....at this pace it will fill up in....multiply by the cosecant...carry the one...divide by Pi oh like maybe next week. Yet a lot of the same "players" are still waiting for the game to start. And a game with 360 players at tables of nine is good for another couple of hours. I imagine medical equipment set to wake someone up with a shot of adrenaline when the game finally starts. Because those free money chips can be traded in for health care credits to keep you going on your free money poker addiction.

Or maybe aren't a real person. I haven't made up my mind yet.

Sarcasm intentional.
