Etiquette

Let's assume I'm wrong (which I'm not) and this artificial intelligence thing I've been talking up is way off base. If that's the case the entire population of PokerStars is made up of two year olds with no sense of decency. After newfie timed down to the fourteen second warning every time in the first few hands I've decided to post about the etiquette these "people" lack.

There are tools out there to speed the game along. And they work better than posting "zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz" in chat. The target never pays attention to that. What must be done is a post in chat about the tiny little check box near the lower right corner. Fold.

Well it may be an insult to your personliness (real word to avoid insulting the other gender than mine), but when you get 7-3 offsuit you should realize the hand is going nowhere, click on the box, scratch the dog behind the ears, glance at the CSI rerun and wait for the rest of the table to get to the next hand.

It's really that simple. When it's your turn to play do you really need 45 seconds to fold a big bet when you have crap? Is there some book I don't know about that ignores the math of the cards and that playing slow is the way to win?

(Note: visit Amazon.com and search for poker strategy books on playing like a douchebag as a means to win.)
