And why?
As an accomplished chess player I found myself interested in watching Carlsen kick Anand's ass. Brilliant endgame technique. So I don't actually have to play to be entertained. I can watch what the big boys are doing.
A couple of years ago the big boys on PokerStars had an incredible number of chips and played these silly race, rage, turbo guts tables and if you weren't part of the club, i.e. not enough chips, you could at least watch the insanity unfold.
Now in this new age of a sorry excuse for having enough free money chips by breaking out the checkbook to buy free money chips to play at tables with huge buy ins the casual player isn't even allowed to observe.
